We had a scan yesterday and we have a foetal heartbeat. Dr Bob reckons that now he/she has a 95% chance of survival. This picture shows the foetus between the two X's (10.8mm long). The heartbeat looked like a little drum beating. Pretty amazing stuff. Mother doing fine apart from puking up every time she looks at me!
20th April
Mum still puking up and being generally tired. Bit scatty but that's no different than before. Next scan Wednesday 26th
26th April
Had our last scan with Dr. Bob today. Everything going well. Foetus has grown three times its size in twenty days. Good heartbeat. Now it's off to Cairns Base for the remainder of the term. They don't want to see Nicky for another ten weeks. Here's the scans from today.
Big noggin (31.1mms long) Looks like a boy to me.
Nice steady heartbeat. 150bpm. Techno baby!
